    What I did

    • Built CLIA as a command-line home where assistants hold explicit roles, retain context, and remain under human control.

    YouTube

    Generative AI became a creator tool—not a demo.

    Text-to-speech and a multi-track video pipeline moved AI-generated audio, graphics, and video into the globally shipped YouTube Shorts editor.

    Google Maps

    At Google Maps scale, typography became infrastructure.

    A core font library, Terra UIKit APIs, design tokens, and migration playbooks became shared foundations for a global iOS product.

    Rally

    At Rally, mobile went from companion app to product engine.

    Four major redesigns joined HealthKit, secure authentication, networking, and animation into a native experience that moved beyond web parity and held a 4.5-star rating.

    Before the startup titles, wrkstrm was already shipping.

    A native Hacker News reader, a whole-life agenda system, and open-source iOS libraries turned independent experiments into a durable product identity.

    JPMorgan became the improbable launchpad for a software career.

    Reading securitized markets through instruments, risk, and regulation sharpened the systems instinct; Objective-C turned it into products people could use.

    Linear algebra, experimental writing, drawing, and a one-hour play became proof that unfamiliar disciplines could be learned fast and taken seriously.
